福岡の小郡に1966年に開店した一蘭の創業者は病気で店を閉めがちだったので看板を掲げず
どうしてもという常連のリクエストの為だけにラーメンを作って食べさせていたので終いには会員制ラーメン屋と呼ばれていた ある日彼は店舗を閉める事にしたのだがその際に常連だった現在の一蘭の社長が経営権とお店の名前ごと買い取って店舗を博多に出店し数々の努力により現在の一蘭帝国を築き上げた その後その大成功を見て一蘭の創業者が再興させたのが鳳凛だ 店舗で豚骨を煮だす本物の天然豚骨スープなので鼻に豚骨の香りが残るのが現在の一蘭と異なる カエシが強くスープの色が濃い
他に一蘭の創業者が関係する中蘭（じゅらん）と言うお店が有楽町にあります
