This is the best place in Kyoto for kotteri thick soup. The 重厚 jukou ramen has lots of bone and a very rich, great flavor without being too salty or oily. It's served properly with only scallions for a topping. Also, the flavor is consistent with the same taste on every visit. My only criticism is that sometimes the pork chashu is not warm enough on top.
