Hello I'm from Hong Kong. I have tried many ramen in Hachioji August and I got to say this ramen is the best by far and it does live up to the expectation as the best. Half way eating it you'd already know this is not going to be enough. Soup is not oily and it is real soup that you want to drink on. The pork is quality pork. In Hong Kong we call this the 5 layers pork which is among the expensive part. At EN, I learnt from next guy that in fact it would be more yummy if you drink the soup by putting your mouth straight to the bowl instead of using the spoon. My way is the eat the noodle, soup and pork together in one mouth, followed by an extra spoon of soup to swallow down. In one word, quality ramen and it is something you wanna have before you go on for a long trip away. It does leave you memory and make you wanna have it when you think of it.
